2010 - check back soon for images of new paintings!
2002-2009
Below is a sampling of more recent paintings. On average these paintings are 20" x 30" or larger.
Please email me if you'd like for more information about a particular piece or commissioning a painting.
In 2009, I was honored to be included in the Art of the Cape and Islands, an annual art magazine published by Cape Cod Life Magazine as well as Best of America Oil Painters, Volume II from Kennedy Publishing (sponsored by Blick Art Materials). In addition, I received first place in the oil/acrylic category at the Arts Affair in Quincy and honorable mention at the South Shore Art Center's Blue Ribbon Exhibit. I was also thrilled to win Artscope Magazine's centerfold contest for the medium of painting as well as receive a spotlight in Dovetales Magazine's holiday issue in the creative gift giving section.

2000-2001
Most of the work done in this period was created using mixed media (paint, ink, fabric, recycled paper, wood, etc)
I moved into new territory focusing mainly on portraiture using vibrant colors and incorporating collage into the pieces

1989-1999
From 1989-1992 I spent a majority of my time sculpting using wood, metal, found objects, and plaster.
Sadly, none of the sculptures from this timeframe survived, but, fortunately, I have a few photos.
I also spent a fair amount of time drawing and painting, mostly oil.
The paintings and sculptures played off of eachother and I took inspiration from both.
Most of the work was on a large scale (hey, I had a huge studio - that helps)
